Antonio Sagastizado:

Tony Sagastizado I is the youngest of six children. As a result of the civil war in El Salvador, his family exiled to the US and Canada. He arrived in Houston, Texas, in 1984, where he attended Aldine High School. Later on his family decided to move to Vancouver, British Columbia, where Tony got the acting bug. This multi-talented performer has been acting since he was young, but it was Vancouver where he started to act at a very well renown theater company called Vancouver Youth Theatre. Tony co-wrote a play called “Canadian Stories”, which toured across Canada, the US, Europe, Japan and Australia. The show was much acclaimed and because of it, and their hard work in the area of multiculturalism, VYT theater received the Minister of State Award for Excellence in the Field of Race Relations which is the highest honor bestowed by the federal Government is this area.

He also appeared on “West Side Story”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Pippin”, “Night of the Iguana” and “Grease”. He also tapped into the small screen, appearing in shows such as 21 Jump StreetStreet JusticeBreaker HighThe X-FilesBorn to Run and the indie film Ink on Paper (second place at the Houston Film Festival). His projects have been part of other festivals such as Cannes Festival, Suncadance, Montreal, LA film festivals
