MEET SHANE WOOD

Shane was honored to play the lead role of Chad in the action packed movie Hired Gun alongside Michael Madsen. It was the #1 action film in Japan in 2010 according to the Japanese distributor.

He has played various types of roles from comedic to dramatic as well as stunts. He is known for playing formidable and intimidating roles, few others could pull off. After moving to Hollywood he started working on many projects at AFI. First film of his second-year at AFI garnished a standing ovation from a room filled with AFI grad students. This led to six more leading roles for a total of 7 record leading roles in one year by an actor at American Film Institute Conservatory.

He also worked with 22-year Marine Veteran Matt Sigloch doing mostly live fire stunts on several shows including Spider-Man 3 and Déjà vu. He also served as a lighting consultant to Mark Stetson of Digital Domain on the movie Supernova directed by Walter Hill. Not only is Shane an actor and stuntman but has also worked in several other capacities in film making including producing and directing.
