MEET CASSUS GREGORY

As an accomplished musician, entrepreneur, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Cassus Gregory has had quite a fascinating career at such a young age.

Born Paul T. Cassarly on October 8, 1992 in Belleville, IL, he took on the stage name Cassus Gregory to reflect both his professional brands (namely, Cassus Media and Cassus Records) as well as his Catholic name inspired by Pope St. Gregory I (a saint’s name is the name of a saint given to individuals at their baptism or confirmation within the Catholic Church; it is believed that the saint whose name is chosen will serve as a special patron to protect, guide, and be the heavenly intercessor for, the individual who bears his or her name).

During his schooling years, Cassus was the recipient of many musical awards for his trumpet performances in ensembles and solo work. He eventually joined “The Commandant’s Own” U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps in Washington, D.C.

After leaving the service in 2015, he transitioned over the next two years by honing his media skills in audio, video, and graphic design production. He applied and began studies at the Berklee College of Music Online to finish his Bachelor’s degree in Music Production; he graduated in May 2019 with honorary guests Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake, and Alex Lacamoire.

As an entrepreneur, he founded Cassus Media LLC in August 2017, and shortly thereafter launched Cassus Records LLC in 2019. His focus shifted to helping the Veteran community with his talents, and to delve even deeper into the musical community as well.

Currently, Cassus is an ADR Professional with Associated Artists Group | Project Combat Ready, providing website, audio, and visual support services as needed to ensure mission readiness.
